The Rarely Ordinary Rogers

WHAT WE SHARE

Different journeys. You don’t have to walk alone.

We share our lived experience to raise awareness, make space for honest conversations and help other families find a little connection.

Rare disease & medical complexity

Our daughter’s rare genetic disease, severe epilepsy and heart defects are part of our family’s story. We share our experience to support awareness of rare disease and families navigating complex medical needs.

Grief & mental health

After losing our oldest son to suicide, grief is part of our family’s life. We talk about loss and mental health with care and honesty, in hopes that others feel less alone.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Caregiving & pediatric hospice

We share the realities of caring for a child with complex medical needs and being a family alongside pediatric hospice. Every family’s experience is different; we hope honest stories can offer connection.

Family life & everyday joy

Our family is more than the hard things. We make room for interests, creativity, and the ordinary moments that keep us connected.

We share personal experiences, not medical or mental health advice. Please reach out to a qualified professional for care that fits your situation.
